Local Development Plan Representations
The Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 introduced a new plan system to manage how development takes place in towns and the countryside to replace the Local Plan/Unitary Development Plan sysytem. The new Local Development Frameworks (LDF) comprise a folder of local development documents prepared by Local Planning Authorities that outline the spatial planning strtaegy ofr the locla area.
In common with the previpous process the LDF sysytem allows for widepread public consultation and which provides an opportuinity to promote or object to the allocation of a development site or a specific policy. DLA Town Planning has many years experience of acting in this respect on behalf of private land owners, development companies, amenity groups and local authorities.
